Bachelorette Weekend

On March 29-30, my bridesmaids threw my the best Bachelorette Weekend! What better way to spend one of my final "single nights out" that a weekend in Chicago!

We met down there around noon, took some time for lunch and Shopping, and then all of the girls has a little party with fun gifts for me (of course, I'm not going to share those pictures!!!).

Then we got ourselfs all dolled up and headed to the top of the Hancock buildings for yummy drinks & a gorgeous view.

That happened to be the night of "Earth Hour", when cities across the earth shut off unneeded electricity for 1 hour. Here is a view of the city missing some of it's most famous buildings!

After drinks, we headed to Wildfire (one of my favorite restaurants) for a fabulous meal! Jeremy would have loved to see a table of us 8 lovely ladies with our steaks for dinner!

After dinner, we went out to a few different bars for so fun and dancing. It was such a fun weekend! Thanks so much Jeni, Keri, Kim, & Marisa!!! I couldn't aske for better friends (and family!)

Although we've been in the final weeks of wedding planning, we still have managed to find time to see our family and friends. We spend Easter in Oshkosh with my (Steph's) family. Here are some cute pictures of Ian & Connor...it's amazing how fast they grow up!

Three's the charm

On March 8th, my Sister (with some help from my mom) threw me my third and final shower (this time for my family).

Once again, it amazed me how the people in my life really know me so well!

Every detail was perfect, from the wonderful and creative decorations...

the three cakes (all of which are my favorite flavors) & chocolate covered strawberries (let's pray that I fit into my dress!)...

to the mini-wisk favors and the towl-cake centerpieces.... There were so many other details that I can even begin to list. What an amazing time! I really appreciate all of the time, effort, and money that must have gone into everything!

And so many people came from so far (including Jeremy's mom from Sioux City, and my aunt Sherry, who flew all the way from Charlotte)...Thank you all so much for giving your time to be there to help me celebrate!

I really couldn't have thought up 3 more perfect wedding showers! I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life! Thank you all!
